anybody know any cold medicine you can have in third trimester? When I google it just tells me what ingredients are considered safe but I was hoping I could just find a specific brand...not trying to be rude but please only comment if an actual doctor told you not your moms dads grandma said it was fine lol....I'm miserable

I caught a horrible cold this week and the only thing I had access to was Benedryl which my doc has told me multiple times is safe. It actually helped a lot with nasal congestion. I only took 1 instead of 2 during the day since it makes me so groggy. Still helped a lot.

@elenasmommy, I was hit like a truck with mine. Was fine and then 2 hours later completely stuffed up. Annoying for thanksgiving!! Hope you feel better soon! I felt so comfortable taking the Benedryl since she has encouraged me to take it to help me sleep. So many of the cold meds you can take certain ones but not others of the same brand. Just too much worry :)
