Just came home from hospital. Couldn't get meds filled because it's thanksgiving and live in a small town. I'm cramping in my stomach so is it ok for me to take a bath and soak. I have a level 1 tear that only needed two stitches

I was also told not to have baths for 6 weeks and I had a dissolvable stitch.
they actually use the same kind of dissovable that you would get with getting wisdom teeth removed so they don't dissolve easily.
I had dissolvable and was able to bathe even at the hospital following labor @levleah @bria.k
@tae23, oops, I could be wrong... you'd know more than me since you've already gone through it.
You shouldn't bathe with dissolvable stitches. Do you know if they are or not?
I don't think you're supposed to take baths for 6 weeks after delivering.
yes! my midwife told me it's fine and actually helps the pain. she said to start with a sitz bath though just to make sure you can handle it.
I was told not to bathe for six weeks, can cause infection AND yu can still be diAlated for a couple weeks it doesn't always go right away
