ladies I need help π I'm having a really bad pain in my tooth - one that I was planning on getting dealt with but then I got pregnant and I need to get put under to do it. it's 5am and I maybe have had a total of an hours sleep from the pain and I took Tylenol but it's not helping. is orajel safe to use?? Google is giving mixed answers.. help :(

has your pain gone down?? if there is swelling, you can try putting tea bag in your mouth or garlic.
@kayla94
No allergies to it so it's 100% safe
@pinkfulskies, they gave me some penicillin to help with that thankfully
sounds like an infection. you probably need antibiotics.
I went to the dentist today! they gave me a prescription for penicillin. he wants me to talk to my obgyn about doing a root canal before I actually give birth in April.. he's worried about the tooth abscessing and getting infected (obviously not good for baby) but I'm also terrified of going under sedation when pregnant because I know it's far from recommended!
omg I totally just chipped a tooth today chewing on ice and going to dentist to see if I can get it repaired... I hope they can cause three months of a chipped tooth can end very badly for me :\
I will have to take a look :)
I picked up the extra strength pm kind and it worked but not the normal kind as I was having the same issue. plus the pm kind is a paste and not a gel so it stays in place and didn't taste as bad.
I did try it! it only numbed it for about 5 minutes :( numbing at the dentist has never worked for me so I'm not too surprised. it's so hard when nothing can stop the pain from it
I've been told Orajel safe to use by some ladies on here just use a little at a time. hope this helps!
Yes I had a full night of sleep last night! I didn't know about the tea bag for swelling, I'll have to try it out!
