So I'm thinking of get an epidural (if I can't handle the pain) who else? or what you ladies opinion…

I am going to try to make it as long as I can without the epidural. My husband knows how bad I don't want one so he's prepared to help me deal with the pain lol. I just can't stand for any part of my body to be numb! I know that's weird but also there's a lot of side affects & I don't want to risk anything. But if I absolutely can't take the pain then I'll have to!

I took the pain for 7 hours it's really hard n painful I didn't wanna get the epidural because it's bad n later when u get old u have problems with your back

all I felt was a little pinch... and about the back problems, that's very true. it comes back to haunt you. but I hate pain, so I had to get the epidural.

it worked wonders ! made delivery a lot faster and most definitely easier I suggest u try to wait it out as much as u can I got mine when I was 8cm and I haven't had any type of back problems

heard ur back hurts a lot if u get the epidural

Getting the epidural itself was the worst pain I have ever felt, but I felt no pain after it was in and had a smooth labor from there and never felt a thing.

I got an epidural and it made my labor so much easier. I couldn't tolerate the pain at all after my dr broke my water. It does feel weird to have your legs numb esp having to have people move and hold your legs up for you but I'll take that over the pain I was having any day
