No, I have one and when I baby sit my nephew (4months) he sleeps in it. It's a lot easier than the crib... You'll use it until baby doesn't fit anymore.

My son only liked it for about a month then decided he preferred to be in his crib in his room by himself.

@Ann abellesmommy, Haha! My son is so independent. Not sure how many other babies are like him. Hopefully your baby loves the crib too!

I really hope she does!!! our room isn't too big, so I'd much rather her be in her crib in her room!! although I do want her to be in the bassinet just for a little bit next to me! but sooner than later I'd like her to get used to her crib. maybe having her take naps in there would be a good way to introduce her to it? @alyen2

@Annabellesmommy Yeah naps are a good idea! One thing my son loves about his room is his sound machine. He likes the heartbeat sound it has. Maybe try that? He also likes light... So a nightlight of some sort.

hmmm I don't have a sound machine but I do have a little bear that vibrates and plays music. it's supposed to soothe them! maybe that'll work?! and she has a nightlight in there so I've got that covered ! (: @alyen2
