Children 🚸? Definitely needed that's what's wrong w the world these days parents allowing the children to do as they please 😌 now days it's the kids parenting.
I firmly believe in it. You don't have to do corporal punishment but I feel a child should know "no means no" and that they should respect their elders....
I think that respect is definitely mutual. If you show your child respect as a human, they'll show you respect as an authority figure. That doesn't mean letting them walk all over you, but it does mean choosing your battles sometimes. I also think spanking is okay but not to cause physical and lasting pain, more to show the child that there are consequences for wrongdoings. I think there are a lot of ways to teach lessons to kids without screaming/yelling/pulling out the belt.
I'm all for it!! My child will know the meaning of respect and if he doesn't then that's were I come in. Parents let their kids run them, not here!! I have raised my 11yr old to be respectful and the times she hasn't she will let you know that she has been disciplined.
I will teach my son right from wrong by talking to him when he makes a mistake for the first time but if it becomes repetitive and I am constantly saying "no malik, stop" that's when I will spank him. but don't get it twisted by all means he will be respectful and he will know im his mother and he needs to listen to what i say but if I gotta beat that ass (not literally beat) for him to listen then so be it.
