ok so I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and had a check up today. My doctor said I'm 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced. She says that considering how ripe my cervix is and baby is in ready position I will most likely go into labor in a couple of weeks. Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes I was dilated at 3cm at 33 weeks and my youngest was born at 36 & 2 days healthy little man he was my smallest 6 lbs 6 oz 😃 good luck to you!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I was only 1 cm dilated at 37 weeks, and 30% effaced. My daughter came at exactly 39 weeks. Some women don't dilate at all, though, until they're in labor. And some women can stay dilated for weeks and weeks. It all depends on the person.
