My stepdad got mad at me for carrying a 10lb end table 5 feet. Like really, I carry more than that on trays at work. I appreciate the concern but I'm not disabled here...

I know how you feel!! my fiance doesn't let me do anything!! he even holds onto me when I use the stairs cause he doesn't want me to over work myself. I know he's trying to help but I wanna do things for myself too!

Right?! Used to piss me off, I am an independent woman! I can walk up some stairs without a spotter, I can carry some grocery bags (within reason obviously) lol it doesn't get much better once your babies out lol except now you can't carry your own baby without people hating on your husband for making you carry the car seat lol
