my midwife said i dont really need too, but its nice because once your in labor and delivery, you dont have to worry about so much paper work while your in labor and spending quality time with family

I would do it because it reduces the paperwork load. I also felt like my hospital was more aware when I popped up!

I was told that unless I want papers shoved in my face while I'm in labor then I might want to preregister.

I didn't do it with my first 10 yrs ago but gonna do it today for this pregnancy. gets all the paperwork taken care and i can focus on delivering a healthy baby

I planned on waiting until I couldn't stand it anymore to go to the hospital because I wanted a natural birth anf being home longer helps that happen. So pre-registration was important to me because I didn't expect any down time before baby was born :)
