I need mommy help!! My lo is almost 6 months and has been sleeping in her crib since she was 2 months but recently she won't go to sleep in her crib! Or stay asleep. My husband is a big computer nerd and is on the computer at night. After her bath and bottle we put her in her bouncy and she watches her daddy on the computer til she falls asleep and usually within an hour we pick her up and put her in the crib and she's out until morning. Well that's changed. Every time we pick her up she automatically wakes up and when we put her in the crib she either wails or rolls over and cries. Any methods we can use to get her back In her crib and not the bouncy or our bed?! We only have a full size mattress so it's uncomfortable sleeping with her!! I don't want to use the CIO method. It breaks my heart. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I mean you don't have to do full on cry it out. what I did was lay her in awake and then she would fuss but I'd keep coming back like every min or so and comfort. but not pick her up. eventually she fell asleep. then she eventually got used to being in her crib and falling asleep by herself. it is heartbreaking to hear them cry but it only lasts about a week till they get it down

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

Baby sleeping in their room?

Baby sleeping in their room? How many of yalls babies are sleeping in their own room already? This is my baby's 3rd night alone in her room. She does GREAT! Sleeps better and longer in her crib. I wasn't planning on letting her sleep alone yet but my husband put her to sleep one night and put her in her room. We were both thinking she'll wake up soon and then I'll just put her in the bassinet in our room. Well, she never woke up until 7:30am ?. I was shocked! She would usually wake up twice at night to eat and then fall asleep in my bed. But in her crib, she slept all night. I'm actually very sad about this. I miss her ?I'm having a hard time having her in her bedroom. How are you ladies coping with your baby in another room?

CRY IT OUT WORKED After 6.5 months on my baby only being able to sleep by me nursing and rocking her I got so frustrated. I put in her crib and let her cry it out. After only 20 mins she fell asleep and I am relieved. Not even my DH could put her to sleep and no other methods work. Any other moms try this method and had it work for them? I know it is controversial but I was desperate.
