all you really need is a blanket a coming home outfit nail clippers a hat hospitals usually provide diapers and wipes

Mine does provide diapers and wipes, thankfully my friend delivered at the hospital I'm delivering at, so I've seen some of the hospital already. I have a tour dec 5th as well. I'm so nervous in going to pack something wrong lol. Like should I get a thin blanket like the little flannel blankets I got for the crib or like one of the soft fleece blankets.. I still haven't decided on a coming home outfit, does he need outfits for while he's there or will they just want him in a diaper.. Should I bring socks and hand socks? If so a pair or two for each day or just for coming home? I overthink everything and I feel like I'm overthinking this as well but I just want to be sure. I'm awake all night just staring at all the baby stuff feeling like I should do something but not knowing what I can do. I feel like putting a bag in the diaper genie just so I can feel like I accomplished something because I just don't know what to do lol

Lol i was the exact same way. I over packed. I took both blankets. its good incase its cold. also bring socks and mittens incase you dont want to cut his nails right away but you have to either cut or cover his hands cause if not he will scratch up his face and I know I got really upset when my girl scratched her face lol.. oh I also brough an extra onsie for the stay you dont need to change him everyday they provided a few shirts for her while we stayed there also.

try not to stress it. I didnt have my back packed until a week before she came and then she ended up being too small for the clothes I brought her and my sister bought a whole new outfit while I was in the hospital lol

Lol I plan on bringing nb and 0-3 months, just in case (my best friend brought nb and her son was 9lb 9oz and didn't fit lol) I'm in Florida so honestly who knows if it'll be cold or not, so I will bring both. Actually what about a crocheted blanket? My grandma had made a good friend of ours a blanket when her son was born, and she passed away a few months later. At my baby shower my friend gave us the blanket, I'm both I want to give him the blanket his great grandma made and also want to keep it exactly how it is lol.. But maybe that would be best to just keep at home.. But I want him to have his pictures done with it so I will be taking it anyways. Maybe I'll bring all of them lmao. I'll be breastfeeding so won't need bottles at the hospital.. Pacifiers? Will they be needed in the hospital? Boppy pillow? I'm so sorry I know I'm seriously over thinking this lol. I'm not due until January but I just keep worrying what if.. I don't think we have any chance of him coming early but we never know what's going to happen so I just want to be ready lmao. I feel like I need to play around with the car seat and figure it out now.. I feel like there's so much time and I need to do something just don't know what, I want to prepare which is keeping me from sleeping but I don't know what to do. I mean even the crib is ready because daddy put the sheet on (even though we will be taking it off and washing everything again before Keith comes home) just to make me feel like we got something accomplished.. We finally got my room completely in order and mostly figured out where everything is going.. Big stuff is in its place just have the swings and bouncer folded in the closet, not like they need to be out now but it just doesn't feel right. I just feel like stuff needs to be done. @babychloe

you're just nesting. I was the exact same way. I'd get so upset and not do anything and then do everything in one day. you probably won't need a pacifier. I just used the pillows instead of a boppy so it's up to you

Lol ok and thank you for helping. I literally feel like a dog getting ready to have pups building a nest just I still have a month and a half to go. It feels so far away lol. Sunday were going through all of the clothes we have and sorting them by size. Maybe even getting the car seat and stroller out. It just really sucks feeling like I need to do something lmao. Maybe I could put his diaper bag together for after the hospital 😂
