what's the difference between a bouncer and a swing? Do I REALLY need a swing or a bouncer?

I have a swing/bouncer. the seat part disconnects and I can put on floor as a bouncer.
I have both! Honestly, both of them are so amazing. Whenever my son is cranky or I want him to take a nap I'll put him in either and he's out! If you had to choose between one or the other I would say go for the swing honestly.
I have both. My mom and my sister said that they are basically your babysitters when you're preoccupied lol. I plan to use them both, swing for when he's cranky and needs to be rocked when I can't and the bouncer for putting him in when I'm in the bathroom taking a shower or bath.
My son loved them both. I used the swing in our living room & took the bouncer from room to room with me. Especially when he was only a few month old. The bouncer is a life saver when your baby wants to be able to see you at all times, but you have things to do. I never wanted to leave him alone for longer than a minute, so I even left the bathroom door open & put his bouncer right outside the door while I took a shower.

Get a swing and bouncer set they have a swing around the same price that can detach into a bouncer
honestly they are both life savers. I would choose the swing. i have 2 kids under 3 and then am about 6 weeks away from having my third and last and I use both! but everyone's diff. when u need to put the baby down (and you will) the swing will keep the baby calm and a lot of the time they fall right to sleep!
I used my bouncer my 1st I got both she hated I mean hated her sing 200$ swing she's been in maybe an hour her hole life she's 3 now
Everyone tells me different things, but I think it's whichever you get your baby use to. I bought a swing. My best friend told me that's what she used the most and she had both

Have any mommies had/used the 2 in 1 swing/bouncer combos? They seem really good in theory, but I want the bouncer seat to be one that is actually easy to remove and move around. I'm trying to decide if we want a swing, and a separate bouncer or one of the duets.

you don't necessarily need either one definitely not both at the same time but one or the other is good to have when you need an extra hand, if you get what I'm saying.
