ONE THING I HAVE TO ENCOURAGE YOU MOMMIES TO GET...HOME INSURANCE. RENTER'S INSURANCE. WHATEVER FITS YOUR SITUATION.
My family lost EVERYTHING this morning. However, in the coming weeks and months (pending the usual investigation and paperwork), our home will be rebuilt and our things, replaced. While it is a tense situation at only the most impossible time of year, we are thankful we had the insurance in place.
PLEASE GET IT, even if it's only the lowest tier of coverage.

Thank you @tekaellis I'm a little...I guess upset?...about the house but watching my family chow down on their Chinese food as we watch "The Lorax" is all I need to smile right now. =)
