so this maybe a dumb question but with pedialyte (or however it's spelled) is there a difference other than flavor wise?
I would start with about 2 oz. Plain would be better but the pineapple will help with the taste ;)
how many Oz's can I give him of the coconut water? I have coconut water w/pineapple will that do the same thing? @kmally
Try coconut water instead. None of the sugar and dyes and it's better for rehydrating and replenishing electrolytes. You can mix it with milk or formula too if needed.
@wyatts_mommy_0106, Hopefully your lil one will feel better soon. All my best...
OK thank you so much I'll ask the pharmacy @chichimango
I didn't know that I wish I would have. I thought he might be to young for Gatorade but next time I do thanks for the info. cause all his Dr said was try to get him to drink water by adding a little sugar or juice to give it flavor and if he still refused to drink it to give him pedialyte @kaylareese26
but she failed to tell me how many ozs to give him and how often. @chichimango
OK thank you so much @chichimango for a 10 month old how much do I give him.he is dehydrated and I called his Dr and she said since he wasn't running a fever to give him pedialyte and see if that makes a difference by tomorrow
When my oldest used to get sick we would give him Gatorade instead of pedialyte his pediatrician said it would do the same thing.
Pedialyte is like a salt/electrolyte solution to help with dehydration a day I would pick a flavor because it's not all that tasty. Some people mix it with juice. And grape is a fairly popular flavor.
OK thank you so much @kmally
