my mom is throwing a sip and see instead of a baby shower . my bf and I are concerned that ppl will bring gifts that we already have (seeing as tho we just went out and bought baby girl the basics for when she comes .) how do we avoid ppl bringing something that we have already ? any suggestions

Sending out a baby registry? Or asking everyone to include the receipt so if they do buy something you have you can return it and buy something you need
