When is it normal for doctors to start checking for dialation etc?

Thank you! I haven't been getting information that I should have from my doctor through out my pregnancy So I'm trying to make sure I know what is normal/to be expected from here on out! @mrsmord

I started getting checked at 36 weeks

36-38 cause checking to much can cause problems, so I have been told anyway

@katorismommy, what problems can happen from being checked too much?

my aunt who's an OB nurse told me it can cause early dilation and cervix scaring... not sure what cervix scaring in but that's just what she said

mine did at 37w6d

35 weeks is when mine did.

Mine never did, some don't if unless you ask.
