failed my glucose test now I have to go in tomorrow and do a 2 hours test. this happen to anyone else? what happens if I fail again
Not interested in a petty little fight. It's not most common for people to have to take Meds. Thanks. @braylinsmommy
okay so if you know ppl do have to take meds for it if they cant control it why try an tell me im wrong?? what is your whole point?? because im correct an if your going to sub like preggie_usa just told people not to plz tag my name she asked a question an i told her one of the things that could happen no one is trying to stress her . @mrsschutte1323
There's a pretty decent chance you won't have to take medication. Don't worry too much.
Most people can control it. That's the statistics. There's a lot of people that do have to take Meds but most CAN control it.
And as long as your sugars are under control (with diet or pills or insulin shots) then everything should be okay. My mil had to take like 3 insulin shots a day to keep it under control but she continued to drink like 8 cans of mtn a day. The baby was 9 lbs and 10 oz but is perfectly healthy.
most people cant control it so they are put on meds so it is true ik ppl that had to take the meds @mrsschutte1323
@braylinsmommy, that's not true in not on Meds. I have it completely controlled with my diet. I check my blood sugar 4 times a day and my numbers are perfect. It's not something you did. Insulin is a hormone your pancreas makes. Hormones get all fucking up when your pregnant. With some women their bodies cannot produce enough insulin and that means there's more sugar in your blood thats supposed to go into your cells and if there's not enough insulin it can't get into the cells. If you can control it with your diet (portion and carb control) you won't have to go on Meds.
I failed and take my 3hr in the morning
sometimes it can just be the way your body processes the sugar. BUT it is common for girls to not past the 1 hr test, and pass the 3 hr one! So dont lose faith!
I just don't get it girls cuz I am 7 1/2 months pregnant haven't gained a single lb, I eat healthy as I can and never had this problem before....
I failed both :( I had to meet with a diabetic counselor that gave me a diet plan and a lot of good information. I have to check my sugar level 4 times a day. Today at my check up my dr put me on oral medication to help control it.
usually its a 3 hour test. and if you fail, youre diagnosed with GD. and you have to go to the dietitian
I failed my glucose test 💔😭
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Failed my 1 hour glucose test. I now have to do the 3 hour glucose test. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I expect? Never failed before. 😞
If tested positive for strep b what happens next ?
They MIGHT have to take Meds but that's one of the more extreme things.
