I hate getting blood drawn bc its like no one understands me when I say "You have to use my hand". Nobody has ever successfully drew blood from either of my arms, but they think they're the best or some shit so they try & my arms end up bruised for nothing. Just use my fuckin hand! 😡😡

I know the feeling. They always try to use regular needles on me. I keep telling them it has to be one of those butterfly needles ! They never listen

@39surp , They act like they know our bodies better. lol When I went to do my 3hr glucose test Saturday I ended up getting stuck 7 times instead of 4. This lady was determined to use my arm & I kept telling her no one has ever got any blood from my arm. & She was moving the needle around in my arm so now its bruised.

It's kind of proceduce. Theyre supposed to try with your arm first cause it's the least "invasive". If they really can't get it then they move down to the hand.

@floress_j, They can't use my arm, nobody has ever been able to. No blood comes out & then they move the needle around & I end up bruised. My hands are really the only way. lol

Aw that sucks! They used to have trouble with my arms as well when i was younger.. its a little easier now thank god lol But they have to go by procedure. It sucks but they have to.
