I'm sure each state is different but when I signed up to do the tests on GED.com it was $35 a test

Not to my knowledge. I know a few who did like my brother. The school just prepares you for the test.

if it wasn't so far from you guys, I would suggest just going to pcc campus. they have a high school completion program that's really inexpensive. the number of classes you take depends on how many credits you're behind according to oregons credit guidlines. I finished high school short by half a credit but when I moved to oregon, it wound up being 2.5. you only have 1 instructor but they do multiple classes, if they're needed. and you can get your diploma instead of your ged.

you can, it helps to take the classes if you are weak in a subject but when I did it I just signed up and took the tests and didnt have to do any classes for it
