Make sure you're using micro fleece or something absorbent like cotton or flannel. Antipill, blizzard, polar, and artic fleece are repelling so would prevent any spit up from actually getting absorbed into the middle. If it is a repelling fleece you can turn it towards you to prevent getting spit up soaked threw to your shirt.
