just depends, it took about 4 days for mine. wearing a tight bra, taking ibuprofen every 4 hours, and not touching them or expressing any milk the whole time.
Mine took 3 days. I wore a sports bra with breast pads for leaking, took ibuprofen, and sometimes iced them. Wasn't painful at all for me doing it that way.

Four days of pain. You can express a little I did because I got a lot of lumps and I didn't want to get mastis.
