milk should be OK. I used to give my son milk and cereal in bottle when I ran out of formula

Maybe call wic and ask? You never know they may be able to take you in sooner too...

When I was working at our daycare, one lady was changing her daughter over to whole milk at 7 months... but she didn't go straight to it, she started with 3/4 formula, 1/4 milk, then half and half, and so on to make sure it wouldn't tear her little tummy up

I would just go buy a cheap can at Walmart to get you through a few days. Cows milk isn't good for us at all really especially not before a year old. It could make him very sick.

if you call and say you can't afford it and that your only option is cows milk they should be able to give you a can they have them at their places. :) thats what i did when i ran out and couldn't afford it.

my son was on breastmilk but there was a couple days that I was super busy and out and about all day long so I gave him whole milk during the day at about 10 months and just watched for any reaction he was fine. from then on he would do some reg. milk during the day and nurse at nap time and bedtime

I know that with wic you can do a walk in just call and ask what time they do walk ins on whatever day

what i did was buy a can of parents choice baby formula. every month to tide me over with my daughter. i couldnt breast feed her much so it came in handy . their large cans are in the ten-12 range and they dont upset the tummy.
