I'm 34 weeks and 2 days. Sorry TMI but me and hubby had sex last night. and about 10 minutes after I started having contractions. I dismissed them as Braxton hicks and tried going to sleep. woke up an hour later in more pain. so I tried drinking water like they have you do at the hospital(it makes Braxton hicks go away) that didn't work so after 3 hrs of contractions I went to the hospital. arrived around 8:30. they checked me and I'm a finger tip dialted but still thick(she didn't give a # or % i was checked for dilation at 32.5 weeks and wasn't dilated at all) they made me drink a bunch of water but I was still having contractions so they gave me a shot to stop them at around 11. about 12:30 they checked to see if I dilated anymore. I was still the same so they sent me home. I do still have some contractions but they are very minor and inconsistent I have 2 questions. question one. how many centimeters is a "finger tip" and has anyone else experienced this and gone to full term.

A fingertip is literally a finger tip. Like the tip of ur pinky. I was a finger tip wen I had to be induced with my son. It's not a 1 or anything yet. But yes u can still possibly go full term.
I went through the exact same thing at 35 and 37 weeks. I made it to my due date 😊 I was a finger tip and the nurse told me it wasn't even a centimeter
So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation.
Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on .
I hope my fluids stay consistent.
Having contractions every 3-4 mins since 4:44 ima try to wait them out BC last time I was having contractions 3 mins apart I wasn't dilating any but I was a finger tip and at my last appointment I was a full centimeter dilated.
I have Braxton hicks contractions often now, usually when I'm at work. You still have 9 1/2 weeks left to stay in 👀It's not time yet 😌😲
just did my glucose test and im so amped up on sugar right now...i keep shutting my eyes to doze off and then i get extremely awake again! lol i started having Braxton Hicks contractions from the intensity of it meanwhile my son was kicking my guts in half. lol it was like Tang times 10!! i loved it... 💗😂😴😲
20 days to my due date and yesterday I was 1 cm dilated. I’m so ready to be a mama to my baby. But she’s so not wanting to come out. Anyone have tips, to get my baby out?
