When feeding my son, he is so agitated (you would think he is not hungry) but if you take out the bottle he starts crying because he is actually hungry. It takes an hour to feed him. I thought it was gas so i burp him constantly but same thing keeps happening.
Any mommy went through this?

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Slow, unhappy feeding is a big indicator of reflux! The little girl I used to nanny was like that and it took us a while to bring it up to her dr because she wasn't spitting up or anything! But we did finally mention it and they put her on the meds for reflux and it was like feeding a completely different child after that!
