so we went tonight to put my daughter's toys that she picked on layaway for Christmas... so my husband says when we go to do it that we should just buy them now since he doesn't know if he'll have money then or not... I said alright and took my daughter back into the store so he could do whatever.... well now he's mad at me because we spent 350 INCLUDING HIS 40 BUCK EXPRESSO machine... but now he's being super mean to me because he spent that much... I told him I can give him $100 towards it when I get my check from working the elections but that wasn't even good enough and it was I don't want your fucking money! so I just wanna smack him because he's being mean but it's like that's all I can do! there's nothing else I can do right now :/

Yeah exactly but no it took me 4 years to get a debit card that had access to all the dam money! it's annoying!
I'd tell him get tf over it. I agree with @3.26.16 it's his child too, and y'all are married so don't act surprised. It should be family money anyways. Hubs and I don't do mine and yours. Once vows were exchanged, everything became us, we and ours.
it just so annoying like I buy for everyone but his dad for Christmas I buy for all my little cousins, my parents, sisters and his uncle so I mean I gotta do all that with about 15
