so I have the best #gratitude story ever! I went to kmart to pay off my son's layaway and get it out after arguing with my husband before I left about whether or not we even had the money to do so. well I was standing in the line and some older man started small talk about christmas with Me and I told him it was our first in our first home and how excited I was. well my turn came and he walked up to the counter with me (I found that odd) and he said I would like to pay off this woman's layaway for christmas with a big smile on his face. I said no and immediately told him that I couldn't accept that and he just slid his card and smiled at me. since he knew that this layaway was for my 19 month old only (from our short convo) he also made me go through the store and find a few things for my 11 year old. I just cried and cried and asked him if I could give him a hug because I had no words for how grateful I was. my faith in humanity has been restored completely. I can't believe someone chose me to bless with such an amazing christmas gift not just the fact that I saved some money but for the simple fact that I needed a reason to believe in people again and I hope one day I can pay it forward to the next person who may be fighting with their husband about money scared they might not be able to afford christmas for their children. all I know is his name is Scott and that he is a christmas angel and I'm so grateful. #LongPost #SorryNotSorry #ChristmasAngelsAreReal
