Thank GOD for this app because I can rant about my baby's father somewhere other than Facebook. Anybody else have a DEAD BEAT father of your child? Let me just make this clear. My daughter is 8 months old. Her father hasn't had a steady job since I was 8 months pregnant with her. He also lives not EVEN a MINUTE from my house. Yet he has watched her over night MAYBE 10 times since she was born. We recently decided to try the every other weekend thing. ( because I could really use a break sometimes, not like he would understand). We decided this about a month ago. I said that I would keep her for two weeks and he could have her the following weekend. That weekend comes and of course he has to "go out of town for a job" LMFAO BULLSHIT! All of a sudden you have to go out of town for some "job" you've never even spoken of? OK. So I have her that weekend. I then have her again for two more weeks. He was supposed to pick her up today at noon. I get a call at 11 from his mother telling me that he can't watch her this weekend because "he isn't in a healthy mental state because of his depression" .... are you fucking kidding me? How about man the fuck up and get a job, take time every other day to see your child, find a significant other, or even find some friends. And then maybe, just maybe you can find happiness. Either way that should not keep you from your daughter. Spending time with her should make you HAPPY. Your mental state isn't keeping you from her. YOU are. You're simply pathetic and don't want to take the sweet time out of your day to be a FATHER to your beautiful daughter. #rantover #imsorryforthelongpost #butihadtoletitout
