Ok Mommies so my son is a year and a month and he starting to throw the most terrible temper tantrum like screaming and he also is starting to hit back and be a little bad. What did I guys do for discipline? I just put him in pack and)l(he doesn't like being in there for a long time) but I don't want to put him in say care of let my grandma hold him and he's hitting ppl in the face.
but yeah I'd try that. I put my son in a quiet room in his crib and let him cry himself to sleep. it doesn't hurt him. he just isn't doing what he wants. and that's how you discipline a baby by shutting down what he tries to control. you show him he doesn't run anything
and u say he isn't talking much yet so yeah he doesn't understand why you just popped him.
1 year olds are a little to young for spankings they need to understand why they are getting popped
because I understand how hard it is to communicate to your child while disciplining him when he has no language skills yet. with my son I made him take naps and he didn't like naps so he realized eventually if I'm good mommy won't put me in crib to make me take a nap. boys are headaches when they have tantrums. my son is autistic so I had to come up with ways to bring point across because his language skills weren't up to par. but he is almost 5 it gets easier trust me
I'm a firm believer in busting a kids butt if they're misbehaving. But that's just me.
Just be consistent with it and it'll work. He can sense disappointment and you will see results
@mumof2, he only says no and hi but no really @just9monthsx3 okay I'll try that
Hey say one minute of time out for every year old they are so one minute will feel like a life time to him
Best thing you can do is tell him no hit and put him in there every time he does it for one minute and take him out and repeat yourself again saying no hit ... Do it every time he hits he will get it
no problem
