Labor story...
On Friday the 13th (last Friday) I went to my firefighter class that morning and started having back pain but didn't think anything of it. I had back pain all day and it kept getting worse. Around 4:00 that night we called the hospital.(I also had an induction date set for the next day) the hospital told me to come in since my induction date was set for the next day and they wanted to monitor me. When I arrived they hooked me up to the monitors and found out my contractions were 3-5 minutes apart. My belly stayed tight because of the way the baby was laying so I didn't know I was having contractions. They told me I could go home or stay. So I decided to stay and good thing I did. Around 6 Saturday morning I got the epidural so I could get some sleep before she came. Around 8 the doctor came and checked me I was 8cm so he broke my water. He thought it was going to be an hour before anything happened so he left to go see another patient. Not even 10 minutes later I started yelling that I had to push but we had to wait for the doctor to get back in the room. Finally he came to the room and I started pushing I was so exhausted I had barely got any sleep the night before so I was falling asleep in between contractions about and hour an 45 minutes later the doctor said he could see her head and I started screaming telling him "to get this fucking thing out of me" he started laughing I also pooped 6 times and every time I did I felt the need to tell everybody 😂 that made my doctor crack up. 15 minutes after the doctor said he could see her head she finally came. But when the doctor turned her over he turned her too fast and it stunned her. So she wouldn't breathe she was purple and not breathing so I started crying which made everybody else start crying. They had to call the respiratory team but by the time they got to the room she was finally breathing. She was born at 10:44am 8pounds 8ounces 20 1/2 inches long with a full head of hair(all the doctors and nurses were surprised that I delivered such a big baby since I'm so tiny)
Congrats! She's beautiful
