can I request to be induced on my due date if baby isn't here yet or does the doc have a big say so on that

You could try but it's up to your doctor and most won't induce unless you have a medical reason or go over due

exactly smh what she said ^ I'm over here miserable and no one cares I asked to be induced before due date and Dr can't do nothing for me. shouldn't it be our choices :-( I'm just super depressed right now and that's not good for baby I don't think.

why would you want to? the longer baby stays in you the better it is for him/her!

think about it in the long run. you're doing what's best for baby by letting it happen naturally even if you don't like it.

@kristaandbaby, I use to think the same thing they were telling me Christmas I was hoping to hold on a few more days to make it to my dad's B-Day everyone was like no you'll want it out .... a month away and I'm dying

My Dr have me to the option and I chose to schedule an induction at 39wks. Lucky I made it this far being high risk and all....

My dr is inducing me any where between the 27-30 of Nov if he's not here by my due date which is 11/26. But the only reason she's inducing is because come the 30th I'll be moved over an hour away from the hospital I'm scheduled to deliver at.
