So me and my fiancé both live together at his parents house but we set up both houses.. And I just I want to be a my parents house after our son is born((sounds selfish I bet)) but it's because I'll fell more secure there and I won't be alone. Where over at his house I'm nearly always along with the dogs. His mom is a caregiver and is trying to get me to file for something so SHE CAN GET PAID for watching my son, nobody should really be getting paid to watch him unless it's like a babysitter not his grandma getting paid though the state to watch him when I need a break. It's just gahh I don't know how to tell my fiancé my wishes I guess is the issue.

Just tell him! We went thru the exact same thing. He understood I would be more comfy at my parents and we stayed for 6 months while getting our place together. Previously we lived with his mom. I wouldn't want anyone else to file anything on my baby in case I had to. Even taxes. And MIL's can be great but they can't replace your mom and let's face it you'll be doing more of the work than him. I was nervous to tell him, thought he might think I was putting his mom down but he understood.

that sounds like something my mans mom would do . his mom and mine would have me fucked up if they thought I'd let that happen . like , y'all grandmas. you don't need to get paid unless you're watching the child like a daycare would be

Sorry but it sounds like she could be after extra money. Like how is the state going to know when she has your son verses when she doesn't? I'd wanna stay at my moms too. My in laws are over barring, negative ass hats and I live with them. I'd much rather be at moms with my sister than alone.
