Am I a bad mommy for wanting my mom to take my daughter for a night? I don't want her out of my sight, but at the same time, I need a break. Been home alone with her almost 24/7 for two weeks now and my hormones are so messed up. Not to the point of post pardum depression, I don't think. I still take care of her just fine. I just want to cry alot. Do I get a bad mommy award for wanting a night of sleep and quiet?

Nope my mom wanted my son for a few hours so me and my husband went to my aunts to enjoy the pool. We ended up staying the night at my aunts. Go relax enjoy yourself for a few hours or the day. As long as your baby is being cared for by a well trust person.

I bawled all the time for the first three weeks after my son was born. its normal. your hormones are really out of whack. If you need a break take it.
