And you aren't her child so her claiming him shouldn't affect you. Look more into it! There's a way YOU can get assistance. My SO and I live in the same house and had to get food assistance for a couple months and we were both able to. I hope you end up getting the help you need. :(

File for your own assistance. Especially because you and your boyfriend are not married and do not need to be on the same case. File for your own and this way you will get money individually from his mother.

and she won't give us the 300 dollars that she received because of that and it pisses me off. she doesn't need food like we do.

we tried but my boyfriends mom put his name down on her application saying that he lives with her so we can't do it. I'm already on wic but that doesn't get us barely anything @jmcmillion

You are also pregnant so WIC will assist you and you can get bread/eggs/milk amongst other things.

Try getting some assistance from the state? If you need it and qualify I'm sure you can receive something.
