My little sister was in a bilingual program , but she didn't really learn conversation Spanish but I'll definitely see if there's something that I like @ivansmama13

My SO is from Mexico, and we speak mostly Spanish at home, but we wanted to reinforce being bilingual as well. I was surprised how many daycares offer bilingual programs, and even public schools. something to look into in your area maybe :)

Yes I remember in high school I'd been working at my job for 3 years and there was talk of promoting me , but in the end a girl that had only been there 6 months got the promotion because she spoke Spanish . I'll just feel better knowing I gave her that advantage and studies show bilingual kids excel in academics from an early age

@brandylemonds15, start off slow and eventually she'll get it ! I personally feel like it's important that kids now a days are taught more than one language being bilingual opens many doors for many different Opportunities

Plus being bilingual is a major plus for when she becomes an adult and is looking for a job , I could start with teaching her numbers and Abc's when she learns how to talk @ainsleighsmommy

My two year old is currently learning Spanish . I'm biracial (Mexican and White ) well I have Italian in me to but let's focus on Mexican and Black and my first language is Spanish so That's why I decided to teach her . My Husband is Black & basically my whole family speaks Spanish better than English . I started off by talking to her is Spanish and she picked it up and tv shows and DVDs and APPS ! She loves phones so I got her a iPod and it's filled with language apps .

My thing is I don't know any Spanish at all I need something to teach me Spanish that she will actually use @mrs.medrano

I plan on teaching our baby English and Spanish and maybe as the baby grows up sing language

dora, dragon tales teaches some, theres games online she could play. try to teach yourself some also

A lot of her daddy's family is from Mexico and doesn't speak very good English so I'd love for her to be able to hold conversations with them once she's old enough , and that sounds like a great idea ! @tbella91

with me growing up there were cards placed on furniture or items in the house it helped me remember. and babies will catch on fast .
