getting my daughter off of her bottle is a nightmare. I don't understand her brother was so simple I threw them all away and he was fine with a cup. My daughter on the other hand refuses to use a cup unless she chooses to use a cup and when she has a bottle she carries it around all day in her mouth and without it she screams and cries. mind you she's 18 months!

well I got my son off bottles no problem at 6 months and I've introduced my daughter to cups fairly early because her brother uses them. I am starting to wonder if it's just easier because she's still teething really bad or what. her teeth cut through very very slow. she only has four and not even half a tooth it's cut through and gone back down.

My son is almost 20 months and he still won't give his bottle up. I'm determined to break him from it by the time he turns 2 in April. He doesn't carry it around but whenever he wants a drink of milk or water he always wants it in a bottle. The only time he uses a sippy cup is when he sees his older cousins doing it and he wants to copy them. Idk what I'm gonna do!!!!

When my son was like 7 months old and we introduced the cup, I literally used it for everything and stopped giving him a bottle, he didn't like it for a few weeks but ended up giving in. Maybe get rid of the bottles and eventually she will accept the fact she needs to use a cup lol. I'm sorry mama!!
