*vent* Gender disappointment? Not knowing what we are having is disappointing. I am happy we have something though whatever the baby may be. (baby had the umbilical cord between it's legs) Being told we can't find out and probably won't get another ultrasound sucks lol. No I don't live in a place where I can get a specialty ultrasound without driving 4 -5 hours. That adds up. I am happy to hear the heartbeat at each visit and know the baby is OK. But I wish I had the chance to know the gender. I would like to name the baby and pick out stuff without everything being gender neutral. I think ladies who go the whole birth choosing not to know are awesome and strong. I am not and this is driving me insane. I am sick of people asking me if we found out what we are having. Even when I say nope we don't know they look horrified like I did something wrong. I just gave up explaining it a while ago. Whatever the baby is will be a blessing.

usually you get an ultrasound around 36wks for measurements and positioning.... maybe you'll have an opportunity...?

@babycasey, I hope so. Right now I am so frustrated with my doctor for not being more understanding. She treated me like crap at my last appointment.
