Woke up feeling sick! Wth?! Can't breathe through my nose, my throat hurts and I'm wheezing. :( I got my flu shot yesterday but I thought it was inactive. Did my immune system plummet then? Just want to go back to bed 😞

The flu shot gives a lot of people the flu. I refuse to get it because I don't want to be sick.

I didn't get it either and my doctor tried scaring me into it. I just kept a straight face and said no thanks over and over. She gave up. lol Same reason, I didn't want to end up sick since I've never gotten a flu shot before.

Lucky. I feel like death and I swear it's just getting worse. 😞 after work will be a heating pad, tea and sleep. 9 hours to go.

@swtlilangl, The flu shot does not give you the flu. What some people feel after getting it are side effects from the shot that usually only last a day or 2.

Ive personally known multiple people who have been diagnosed with the flu or worse after receiving the flu shot. But I'm not going to argue my opinion of vaccines on here. @caracross1

I was told that the shots are inactive. That they no longer contained be virus but that they could make so sick. Just not with anything they would diagnose as the flu. Either way. I felt great yesterday and feel like garbage this morning.
