ladies need help its 140 am and my mom won't answer lol my son got his shots yesterday morning when I got home I took him a bath gave him tylenol since then he has been running a fever of 102.4 it will go down to 98.0 then back up its now at 101.0 I gave him another bath more tylenol and cold cloths and it isn't going down what else can I do?
I know it is his fever went down in took him another bath and kept him in his diaper and have been keeping a cool cloth on his head hope it stays down thanx@xaviersmommy
his Dr said tylenol was ok and I have been massaging his legs with a warm cloth @proudmomofmydaughter
Your not supposed to give a baby Tylenol after their shots because if they run a fever from the shots the Tylenol could mask the fever and when the medicine wears off he could run a very high fever like he's doing now. It's best to massage his leg, feed him, and take a warm bath. But if it's 101 I would take him to the ER @mamaoftwo1315
dang. well yeah you need to take him to the er or urge care. a fever that high isn't good for a 3 month old. or keeping putting him in his bath and take him to his dr early in the morning. and keep him very hydrated
yes I have I've tried everything and haven't been able to break it I called urgent care and they told me to bring him in but my bf took my car to work and it's a good 30 min drive to urgent care@lalaloopsi
Should call the doc see what they tell you.Is he just in diaper did you put wet wash cloth on forehead under his arm by arm pit and in his lil legs??
you've pretty much done everything. how long are you leaving him in his bath for. I usually never my son in there for like 35-40 minutes
I have no idea if or why it worked, but my daughter did the same thing and my mom told me to put a dab of Neosporin on the spot they poked. Her fever went down, she was less fussy oh, and the swelling too(her leg swelled up real bad after)
