No that's an old wives tale, there's no research behind it. You can get sick with any lol HG isn't very common so hopefully you don't get to that point. @mytwocuties123

@tayek I feel ya, I'm better now hopefully it stays this way. I hated the IVs but staying in the hospital saved me. And my zofran pump took it off two weeks ago. I hope you recover soon! HG sucks.

I'm hoping for an end to the HG so I can eat like a piggy lol Currently it's ice chips, gatorade, and an IV.

Within the next month you should probably be up about 10 pounds or more. I was in sort of the same situation at 20 weeks.

@sktraum oh no! 😖 I'm taking advantage of my good days in case it comes back with full force :( I also have Zofran but leave it for the worse days. Feel better :(

My morning sickness came back at 27 weeks so I've been throwing up on a daily basis even if I take zofran! I thought the worst was over 😭

@tbella91 hahaha I know but trust me HG was not fun in the beginning. Can't wait for April so I can eat real food again. Lol

@bohomommy 10 isn't bad at all. I know other who started gaining immediately.

Next week at my next checkup I'll get my current weight but here at home it's still 30 under that I also lost within the first month. It sucks!!!!!! @sktraum how are you feeling now that you're closer?

I think I've gained about 10 pounds. And I'm 28 weeks.

I'm 30 weeks and lost 23 lbs in the 1st trimester and haven't gained any of it back. I feel like I've gained weight but the scale at the dr says different!

Don't worry about gaining weight. I had the same thing and lost a ton of weight. Only towards the end did I gain weight but my baby is still very healthy!
