okay I need to vent because I'm extremely pissed right now. my friends bf beat her up and people are blaming her for it…

my fiance was a drug addict and he got clean right after he met me and my son. but his Ex right before said he never touched her and he relapsed when we got together and he would never touch me any way other than lovingly.

I couldn't agree more with what you said, people who do drugs or have done drugs are not bad people. everyone goes through rough patches in life and copes in a different way. my bf used to be the biggest coke head I have ever seen but he has never raised his voice to me let alone tried to hit me. the stereotypes people throw are bullshit. @mamab3ar

Sorry, didn't realize how long my comment was. This topic just really hit home with me.

That is so ignorant. My boyfriend and I are both in recovery, he has NEVER put his hands on me or any other female he has been with. A man puts his hands on a woman because he was not raised properly or because he doesn't know what it means to be a real man, not because he is currently or ever has abused drugs. People have such a stigma about drug addicts that makes them out to be these terrible human beings even if they are sober it's truly unfortunate. My boyfriend is a wonderful loving caring human being and the best man I have ever had in my life. My ex beat me for 4 years, put me in the hospital, threatened to kill me, and has never once done drugs. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this, for standing up for yourself and for others have that used drugs and don't live that way of life any longer. It's because of people like you that I continue to have hope for myself and others in recovery.

she turned him into the police, he has two charges against him with a total of $10,000 in bail. court isn't set until end of Dec. she's already seeing a counselor so I told her just to bring it up at her next meeting. @ktwins188

they are acting like this had happened before and she said. they were together for a year and not once did he act like that except for today. @mimiz

No one deserves mistreatment no matter what the issue especially coming from an abusive person
