Just use a great conditioner. Be prepared for both textures--it may turn out finer like yours or more tightly coiled like his. If its very curly, the brush will be your enemy. Also, the closer it is to Daddy's texture, the more you'll need oil for moisture. (My son will be Indian and Black, so I'm studying up on his dad's hair care regimen and preparing to make a hybrid of his and mine depending on whom Ajani takes after.)

They have some products out for mixed hair types also. Mixed Girls & Carol's Daughter are the ones I see most frequently.

I'm mixed and the best thing in the world is wen- I use it as a leave in conditioner not in the shower. It's the only thing that makes my hair manageable

im mixed and my babies father is Panamanian. usually I use oil based products like olive,or tea tree and Shea. but just keep it conditioned I barely use shampoo just maybe once a month so my hair doesn't dry out. Moroccan hair oil is good too

I am mixed Afro Latina. I use Shea moisture products and will get their baby ones for my kids :)

Also Coconut oil for moisture and apple cider vinegar for detangling
