has anyone had an ultrasound and found out they werent as far along as they thought?

Lol yea. I went in thinking I was 7 weeks. turned out I was 15 weeks 2 days

I'm trying. hoping for the best.

@mrsschutte1323, I'm supposed to be 8 weeks had my first ultrasound yesterday and I measured 5-6 weeks and they could see or hear heart beat and just wondered if it was normal

Yea it happens. The doctors cannot pinpoint when you conceived the baby and they go by your period because that's all they really have to go by. So when the do the first ultrasound and measure the baby, that ultrasound is more accurate than any other ultrasound in your pregnancy. My period calculations say my due date is January 22. My first ultrasound says January 28 (my current due date) my second ultrasound say January 24th and my third ultrasound said February 3rd. I'm measure the right size for my due date to be January 28th though. But only 5% of babies are born on their due date so it doesn't really matter anyways.
