omg hope everything is okay with her! wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy!!!!!

With my first baby. I was already 40 weeks and my OB checked me at my appointment and he said he wasn't ready to come out. That I wasn't soft, dilated, and he wasn't coming down yet. He said to wait until baby is ready, at least two more weeks and if not he would induce me. Something told me not to wait! Once I left his clinic I went to the hospital and texted my Dr and told him I was not waiting that I wanted a c section done whether he did it or someone else I knew I had to get my baby out!! When they cut me open, we came to find my son had the umbilical cord around his neck. If I would have left him in there ONE more day, he would've died. Sometimes Dr's are so wrong.

I try not to open those threads.. Not because I'm insensitive but I can't handle the reminder that nothing is guaranteed. 😔

I'm enjoying this pregnancy one day at a time.

@bets, whaaaat? That's unbelievable. I worry about that all the time. My boyfriend gets mad and thinks I'm rushing him but I just don't want anything like that to happen. Good thing your mama instincts kicked in when they did and I'm sooo glad your baby was ok in the end.

@mybabyamir maybe I'm stubborn and maybe I'm wrong. But I wouldn't go past 40 weeks even if my Dr said everything was fine. Don't go based off my story mama we are all different. But always trust your gut more than them.
