is it safe to eat diary queen during pregnancy ?

I just had two banana splits from DQ. we did ask them how often they clean their machines and they said every night. they have a rating of 98.00 so that's good too@rebcamdot

@mandapanda25, You should be just fine! The issue isn't with the soft serve itself, it's whether or not the machines are cleaned properly to protect against different bacterias like Listeria. I don't have DQ near me but I go to another frozen yogurt shop that I believe cleans itself well and eat away!

the reason is because if a soft serve ice cream machine isn't properly cleaned it can contain old ice cream growing certain bacteria such as listeria and would be unsafe for the unborn baby. but if you know a place is clean and they can prove to you that they clean it regularly, go for it. I love soft serve. most places have to follow the guide lines due to health code but you can ask if you like. @mrsschutte1323 @sweetpea884

From who?? It's just fast food. There's nothing unsafe about it lol I've eaten dairy queen twice and have been perfectly fine.

yes its fine. blue bell ice cream I be live it is is the only ice cream I have been told to watch because of Listeria. but in small quantities you are fine.
