I've worked my whole pregnancy, and I mean it was no big deal or even a struggle, because I needed to I mean I am having a baby, I have a car payment insurance, fortunately I live rent free but I'm 21 and momma don't play that whole I'll pay while you sit on your ass thing😂. But I mean I am so jealous of you blessed Mommas that do get taken care of while pregnant, BELIVE me. lol. Even tho I had to switch professions because I personally couldn't bare standing up for so long all day doing hair (but I will go back) anyways I worked non stop! My question is, my date to be induced is the 27th. And I'm scheduled to work all the way up till then. Should I feel bad if I tell my boss that my pregnancy leave will start after this Saturday? I mean as for now I'm all paid and saved up. I just need some rest time and last minute running around making sure everything is ready. What do y'all think?

No you shouldn't feel bad at all. Pregnancy takes an incredible toll on your body and you most definitely need some time to rest up and relax before your baby gets here.

I read somewhere online you're supost to give a 28 day notice on what day you plan on leaving. Have your Dr. write you a note saying you can no longer work as of xx-xx-xxxx so your covered and could still possibly get your SDI if your employer cover it (?)

I'm going to go ahead and let them know today. I just didn't wanna seem like I am wanting to be lazy or being a baby about wanting to rest up before, thanks tho ladies y'all are obviously already mothers so I'll be more then happy to take yalls advise 😉! Lol. And yes I'll even ask my doctor to write me something tomorrow, at my office I didn't give any notice only my date and my manager just scheduled around that day, she (never been pregnant) didn't ask what day I was planning on starting my leave. She just scheduled me. Lol witch is fine! But I'm not getting any pay or insurance anyways due to me switching jobs early pregnancy I've only been there months. But having the doc back me up sounds smart!

I definitely think you should take a few days to get prepared. I was supposed to work up until 39 weeks but once I hit 38 my body couldn't take standing up for 10 hours a day 5 days a week so I went ahead & took leave a week early. now I'm so glad I did!
