I HATE seeing people complain about stretch marks. That's what happens when you're pregnant..... Hell I had them before I was in the 10th grade, they're not ugly or gross, it's a part of your body. I just have a hard time with people not accepting their bodies when God made everyone the way they are for a reason.

Ugh I'm glad somebody said something... I was getting annoyed about ppl who have found a stretch mark... I am on my 3rd pregnancy..overweight and covered in them but I seriously worry more about my kids future, education, not dying and things of way more concern.

I'm just the kind of person who believes everyone is beautiful in their own unique way, and pregnancy and all of its marks make people that much more unique, ya know. I was bullied too ( I'm a pretty good sized girl) and that only made me more confident in my skin. I just wish everyone thought about themselves the way I think of myself

Not everybody can accept their bodies. The media tells them they have to be perfect and when they've been what society thinks is beautiful and the idea of perfection for so long they don't know how to handle it when their bodies change and they become the things that are shamed. It's easier for people like me who have never been societies idea of beautiful. I've come to learn that the patriarchy can't define my worth with their magazine covers and actresses. I'm perfect the way I am and if I think I'm hot shit I shouldn't care what other people see!!! But most women who fit in with societies standards have for their whole lives. They're used to being the pretty ones and they see the people with stretch marks and cellulite and think of them how the media does- as ugly. So it's imprinted in their brains that if they change, if they develop cellulite or stretch marks or a belly, that they'll be ugly. America is pretty shitty that way.

I get what you mean but sometimes it's hard to accept the bodies we were born with and grew up to. I was always bullied for being skinny people always calling me names saying I'm a stick or anorexic or always staring at me everywhere I went. most of the time I tried brushing it off but being always constantly made fun of or picked on wasn't easy. I couldn't help having a fast metabolism I eat so much but it's so hard gaining weight... as for stretch marks I wouldn't mind them at all I'm just so blessed to be able to carry my baby 💕
