So just trying to seek some different opinions. Who lets their baby cry it out and who doesn't? Also what is your reasoning for doing so or not doing so?
I don't because I feel as though my son is losing trust in me and I want me and him to always have a good and strong bond. I feel like he is crying for a reason
I do but I dont. I guess it all depends, if the boys have been fes, burped and changed and are sleepy I will let them fuss for a lil bit, not to long. It's hard cuz when they're both fussy, they want mama to rock them to sleep and I can't rock them both at the same time. But I always make sure they're safe. But this rarely happens, for the most part the boys are very happy babies....
I don't. i don't believe it's our (as human beings) instincts to just let a baby cry. like @valerie_jean i know my daughter's fake cries and I'll say "oh that's so fake" and she usually stops. but anything else I tend to her needs as soon as possible.
I let my son cry it out. When he's fed, changed, burped, etc. then I know he's fine. I mainly let him cry it out at night because he wakes up to eat a bottle even when he's not hungry. He whines a lot through out the day but I just ignore him. I know the difference between his real cry and fake cry.
I wouldn't let my baby cry it out because that's a baby's way of letting you know when they need something rather its food or just to be comforted. My friend let their baby "cry it out" and she became conditioned to the point she didn't even cry when she had a dirty diaper at night...I guess she knew her mom wasn't gonna help so what's the point...I think that's sad... I want my baby to know if they cry I'm there even for the smallest things. The only thing I'm worried about is getting my baby to spoiled with being held.
