these people have lost their minds, so you want a 30 notice that we are moving and you want rent for both December and January?? so I'm suppose to pay rent for a apartment I'm not staying in while you rent it out to someone else. you gotta be out of your mind for all of that I can use it for storage and just move what I need now and come back for the rest in January.

You need to look up your state property codes. I'm a manager at an apartment complex in Texas and it's illegal to collect rent by two parties in the same month. Do some digging!

Try to find someone to sublease. That's usually the cheapest option.

Im breaking my lease early. The only way the owners will charge me Dec & Jan is if they can't find anyone to rent for those months. I've had people coming to look at my home the whole month of November.
