If someone threatens to kill them self they should be baker acted. Do not feel bad for calling 911, it will save their life. My fiancé suffers from depression and bipolar and has had multiple episodes where I have had to call 911 and he has thanked me every time. Reach out for help, she will thank you. I promise.

If I wouldn't have called and my fiancé would have killed himself I would have never forgiven myself for not calling or reaching out!

The way she was talking I think she knows it's wrong.. About her family and her cat and she has plans to go get her shit (this happened because of a breakup) and drop his shit off so she at least will make it til tomorrow.....@dnhmommy3

you should call her mother, or some family member and let them know. she needs help.

@jmcmillion, I think she's gonna be okay for right now. But I will call 911 if I have to. I've never done it before and never really been in this sort of situation but my husband (he's at work) knows my friend and one of my roommates friends knows exactly what's been going on and what her plans were so she is not alone.

@maybaby2016, all of her family is like 3 hours away. @lilyandkaidynsmommy the pills are taken care of. I let her take one sleeping pill so I could be sure she would get some sleep and I watched her take it and I took the rest and the other bottle of pills she has. She's asleep. This is the second time in a 14 months that she tried to kill herself. Her mother knows what's going on for the most part.

@jmcmillion, me too. Thank you. My mom was in a car accident yesterday and I'm not feeling to greatest and then on top of other life stress I'm not sure I'm completely capable of handling everything without have my own sort of break down. Which ends with me crying my eyes out and throwing shit..

@susiecute, I'm going to try and get a hold of her mom and see what we can do about getting her to talk to someone (she's very stubborn) @nmcmillion I hope everything does work out. She was pretty messed up about it but I know she's gonna be okay and move on from this. I'm gonna try to get some sleep. Thanks everyone for the advice!!

it was most likely a cry for help. if she really wanted to commit suicide, you wouldn't have been able to stop her. you should still contact someone, she need help though
