Question. So my baby is 3weeks old. Last week her umbilical cord fell off and left a scab. Well today after her bath the scab wiped off and was bloody and had a foul smell. Should I be concerned? My doctor hasn't call back after 3calls. It's not oozing anything and isn't red.

my son did the same thing. my doctor said to put witch hazel on out and let it air dry, worked in 2 days!

my daughter is a little over two weeks and is going through the same... Dr said as long as it's not red/inflamed and bleeding like a actual cut then she's fine

If it's not red, swollen, or oozing, and if she's not running fever then I doubt it's infected. I'd just continue to keep it as dry as possible.
Dd was hysterical when he left And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate seeing her that upset. 5 - 10 min after he left when I was cuddling her and comforting her she finally stopped crying. It was probably 30 - 40 min after he dropped her off that she was finally normal and not clingy.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
How did you all wean your child off the bottle? My daughter won’t drink her milk out of a sippy cup for nothing...but will drink her juice out of one..

So I wanted to name my daughter Serenity & then my brother & parents called me after they had a whole house meeting saying the name “wouldn’t get her a job”.. now I’m back to square one 🙄

My daughters did too.. Just continue to clean and take care of it until it looks healed. Just because it feel off doesn't mean stop cleaning it continue cleaning it.
